Fearless—terrific documentary TV Series—shows the reality of living the bull riding rodeo lifestyle at the professional competition level. Excellently documents, through interviews and camerawork, the tough reality, the love of the sport, the thrill, and the why these men get up and do it all over again. Episode 2: A Harvest in August is more about the persons and their families as they are involved in this sport than about the sport itself. This episode appeals to the fans of this sport more than the general audience.  It relies on great interviews to reveal what riders go through at home and shows how family members interact backstage and on the bleachers to support and cheer on the riders.

Storyline

 Documents Brazilian Bull Riding Championships.

Episode 5

Episode 5: Glory and the Price Paid is about the nitty gritty of bull riding. This episode increases the interest factor  for completing the series. The interviews are great . Even for one who is not a fan of bull riding, this is the part of the series where understanding begins to develop and respect for the grit it takes to win in this sport develops.  Bull riding is a tough job. Kudos to those who have the courage to get on and ride for eight minutes. This is a well-done documentary series and should be told for all audiences to see the benefits and non-benefits of this sport and to have compassion for those who put their lives on the line for their income, which can be millions of dollars, after their 8- minute ride in professional competition. An audience at this point may feel a profound thanks for showing a new point of view that would not have been seen without this documentary.

Storyline

This episode graphically shows the courage necessary to take on this profession and increases audiences' awareness of why it is happening.

Episode 6

Episode 6: Being Mortal—This is the last and final episode. It is worth watching the entire season for this last episode. It puts the cream on what it means to be fearless. This concludes the first season with a deeper examination of increased injuries, retirements, more bull riding, great interviews, and a well put together story. The portrayal allows insight and education into a very different lifestyle.

Storyline

This episode  makes the audience wonder what do these men do next, especially if they did not do well in their sport?
