Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.5|5.0 Starsììì First Cow—John Magaro, Orien Lee, Toby Jones and Ewen Bremner—runs on an unusual experimental format of no plan, just an ongoing process bathed deeply in the wash water of no direction. As can be expected, it runs slow and uses that abrupt conclusion that frosts its experimental formatting. The film will appeal to the highly artistic audience but will fail general audiences.
