THE GRACE CARD (Released to Theaters USA 2010)

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 3.7|5.0 Starsììì

The Grace card works like a Cops reality television show and has a strong documentary-style formatting in some places. Everything in the movie (presentation, portrayal, acting) works within the okay to suitable range. The believability/realism work at the lower end of the spectrum but the movie has a surprise conclusion that works really well.

? Yes? No? Maybe?

Maybe. This Christian film has better organization than Rust, another Christian-themed movie that appears on the same four DVD disc pack as this one. Overall, the story is a light, afternoon watch that does not require tremendous emotional involvement.
