Birds of Prey—odd film but creative—defines the new, emancipated Harley Quinn as she explores her new world and establishes a place for herself outside of the Joker’s presence. Margot Robbie is great as Harley Quinn and throws the usual curve ball to keep the audience in a state of surprise. Know there are some sexual references and that this is not a family inclusive watch.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?
Maybe. For the adult audience only. The violence is almost cringe-worthy. Despite this, it undeniably shows high creativity, good writing, and organizational skill. There is a realism in this movie that, despite its attempts to be beyond believability, establishes its own realism and authenticates/distinguishes itself as completely unique. Take a strong stomach with you when choosing it for your entertainment watch.
