BELFAST (Theatrical Release USA 2021)

Ben Meyers’ Rating: 4.4|5.0 Starsìììì

Belfast—wonderful, family-oriented movie—films in black and white which enhances audience ability to focus on the story itself. The film story and the chosen cast completely engage the heart. The audience feels the hardships the characters are going through. When it’s time to cheer, one wants to cheer.  The trailer shows an honest advertisement of the movie except for one thing: the movie is better than its trailer and its movie poster. WOW! and Bravo! for the stage settings and the acting of Jude Hill, Lewis McAskie, Jamie Dornan, Caitriona Balfe, Ciarán Hinds, and Judi Dench. Bravo! for a poignant, refreshing story that completely entertains and emphasizes important life events in a positive, clean, and human manner. The movie uses a strong Irish brogue for dialogue but has excellent English subtitles.
