A BRIDE FOR HENRY (Theatrical Release USA 1937)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.8|5.0 Starsììì

A Bride for Henry—fairly good movie—has a fresh, clean approach to romantic comedy and takes its audience on an unexpected adventure. The acting is surprisingly good. The storyline solidly built.  The entertainment value is in place. The movie serves as a good, light, afternoon watch as good in 2022, 85 years after its production, as it was in 1937.

? Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes. It is a cute, romantic story despite its age. Good work for all involved in creating this ‘romp’ entertainment piece.
