BENEATH THE PLANET OF THE APES (Theatrical Release USA 1970)

Beneath the Planet of the Apes—nearly as good as the Charlton Heston introductory version of this story— serves as a good sequel to that movie. The storyline has been well-written. Watch for Charlton Heston in this film as well as James Franciscus.

Storyline 

Upon return to planet Earth, a space traveler finds apes in control of the surface.
