Journey 2: The Mysterious Island is better than the first Journey to the Center of the Earth with Brendan Fraser and Josh Hutcherson. Dwayne Johnson is a fresh casting choice for the film. Michael Caine as Sean’s grandfather offsets the other actors well. Luis Guzman is a great addition to this film.

A grandfather sends a signal to his grandson to come to an island.
