THE HOST (Theatrical Release USA 2006)

 Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.0|5.0 Starsìììì

The Host—WOW!—shows good timing, realism in acting, and non-stop excitement. Director Bong Joon Ho, a South Korean director, shows good ability to transcend international entertainment borders by engaging the human factor so well that an audience may find themselves rooting for the actors and actresses who pit themselves against the mutant monster. The movie uses great subtitles to translate into English. The sea monster catches the intimidation factor well. The movie, overall, completely earns its watch.
