Waterworld—a good, adult film—relies on the talents of Kevin Costner, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Tina Majorino, and Dennis Hopper. Tina Majorino has confidence and integrates well her script. Fresh, original story catches the imagination. Good portrayal of what life could be like without land.

Most of the known world lies underwater and people live like scavengers on the ocean.

Yes. The movie relies on action and terrific special effects to ask for its watch. Good action and unique story give it that watch. Be aware of content that includes sexual references and some nudity.
