Rexy and the Volcano—short film—has terrific detailed animation especially with background work. The character development of Rexy needs improvement, but if this series of films are linked together to produce a full length film, then that issue will automatically be resolved. The end of this film, like the last film, concludes with the parent saving the day for an under-intelligent, or perhaps a better choice of words…an unsophisticated baby Rex.

Yes. It’s a progression from the last film in this series as the baby Rexy explores its world. The movie becomes beautiful as it highlights the role a parent plays in preserving the life of the child until it comes to adult understanding.
