The Final Season—inspirational baseball movie—has a well-written script and shows the acting skills of Powers Boothe and Sean Astin to good advantage. It’s worth its watch.

Yes. The movie performs at an above average level and easily earns its watch. The combination of Sean Astin (Samwise in The Lord of the Rings trilogy) and Powers Boothe works very well onscreen.
