TOMBSTONE (Theatrical Release USA 1993)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 4.3|5.0 Starsìììì

Tombstone—much larger than Wyatt Earp—has a stronger cast and tells the Tombstone story better. Kurt Russell does one of the best Wyatt Earp interpretations yet and Val Kilmer does the same in his role of Doc Holiday. Sam Elliott and Bill Paxton add the right amount of spice to make a terrific and believable movie. Watch for Charlton Heston in the movie and Billy Bob Thornton. The movie has grit and gets to its point quickly. Listen for Robert Mitchum’s narration at the end of the film.
