TREMORS: SHRIEKER ISLAND (Direct to Video Release USA 2020)

 Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.6|5.0 Starsììì

Tremors: Shrieker Island—either seems better than Tremors 2 through 6 or we just got used to the series and cannot tell anymore what is good or bad—serves Tremors fans with the same plotline: Take out the Graboids and Shriekers so the human race can sustain itself. Average acting and portrayal, nothing new here except some new actors. Michael Gross, as Burt Gummer, sustains his role to lead a Graboid hunt.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

Maybe. The first film has a cult classic likableness that this movie fails to catch as completely. Its profit is about the same as all the other Tremors movies and suggests that Tremors made a sustainable income for many years for a certain set of actors and will continue to provide income as the series moves into the definition of cult classic. It supports Tremors fans.
