Malibu Rescue: The Next Wave—simple, preteen film—serves a large portion of 'shallow' with average acting and portrayal. But, the effort is notable and this movie has potential to boost these young actors and actresses into higher quality films in the future. It’s good, clean formula fare to fill in some pre-teen and teen time.
