The
Last of the Mohicans—much better than the 1920 silent
film in storyline—fails in acting and portrayal of storyline. Expectations run
high for this film due to its casting choices, but does not deliver as it
should have despite the fact that it was a Michael Mann directed film (Collateral
and Ali).

Maybe.
The film tells the story better than the 1920s film, but does not stand in the
best class of remakes.
