RICHIE RICH (Theatrical Release USA 1994)

Ben Meyers’ rating: 3.8|5.0 Starsììì

Richie Rich
—good film, but not much to show here—has a slight slapstick overtone, does not have the punch of the original comic book series. Macaulay Culkin sits center stage as the main character Richie Rich, but does not WOW us as he did in the first Home Alone movie. Part of the challenge is the supporting cast does not support his character well. Richie Rich, released four years after Home Alone, serves average fare at best.
