THE LAST OF THE MOHICANS (Theatrical Release USA 1920)

The Last of the Mohicans
—silent film—is a 1920 remake of the movie, Leather Stocking (1909). The 1920 version is hard to follow and not very clear in its storyline. It can serve as an academic study of the silent film productions of this era or as a comparison of how motion picture progressed by studying the remakes of this story from 1909 to 1920 to include The Last of the Mohicans (1911).
