The Secret Life of Pets 2 doesn’t live up to its trailer, makes the audience feel sad about a pet’s boring life, and does not deliver comedy.

Maybe. If you ‘kind of’ liked the first movie with that lukewarm ‘didn’t really need to waste time on that one’ feeling, you probably won’t like the sequel.
