PLANET OF THE APES (Theatrical Release USA 1968)

Planet of the Apes
—classic movie—serves up a good portion of Charlton Heston in a completely unexpected story that causes reflection by examining the ‘what if’ scenario of animal domination upside down. This storyline and script are handled well by Director Franklin J. Shaffner.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?

Yes. The concept completely works. Turning dominance inside out provides fresh perspective on the human/animal condition.
