F.R.E.D.I.—film with no bang—serves up afternoon entertainment that can play in the
background while the audience accomplishes other tasks. Not the best in a
lineup of entertainment choices, this film’s most redeeming factor becomes the robot. Without
the robot, the film performs below the norm. Casting choices revolve around the median or average range.

Maybe.
This film needs much improvement to make that long shot. Nothing new here. Try
the animated movie Big Hero 6 instead.
