The Man in the Iron Mask has multiple logical failures in the storyline and performs on the wishful thinking level. However, it has an all-star cast, the period costuming is well-done, and there is no lack of drama from its beginning to its ending.
Storyline
The
Musketeers plot to replace a bad king with his imprisoned twin brother.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?
Yes.
It’s interesting to see a remake of the 1923 film The Man in the Iron Mask and compare it with other remakes
including a 1952 remake Lady in the Iron
Mask that switches gender roles. This 1998 film version is the last remake of the Alexandre Dumas story as of
2018.
