The Eagle Has Landed
moves like a cookie cutter film without any new moves and the special effects
necessary to drive its storyline. While the actors Robert Duvall, Michael
Caine, and Donald Sutherland are excellent, their performance in this film is weak.
It’s a ho-hum film to fill in some Saturday afternoon time or to show as a running
background flick for a party.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?
Maybe.
The movie, somewhat interesting, does not move along as well as the World War
II movie, Wind Talkers, or the Vietnam movie, We Were Soldiers.
