Being Canadian does
not have a lot to give for a 90-minute investment of time. It
performs as a slow documentary about Who’s Who in Hollywood who has Canadian
roots and ties. The movie plays down being Canadian to the level of being
Canadian means: one is involved either in the movie or music industry. It seems
to have been produced as a low-key roast of Canadian entertainment personas.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?
Maybe.
It does not rate as good entertainment and has that same constipated feeling of
‘this is going nowhere’ that Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon’s series, The Trip, displays.
