Atlas Shrugged II: the Strike, unlike
its prequel, struggles for its story and within that scrambling becomes a
run-of-the-mill movie. The single driving factor is the leading question, “Who
is John Galt?”, which does not have enough intellectual power to make one care.
The movie seems slightly reminiscent of V
For Vendetta or Equilibrium plotlines
where government becomes so overly involved in personal lives and business that
life takes on a surreal aspect.
