Mystic River—excellently directed by Clint Eastwood—stands as one of his best movies since the 2014 release of Jersey Boys. This movie won Sean Penn the 76^th Academy award for Best Actor and Tim Robbins the Best Supporting Actor award. The film is well written and well told.
