Monster Family thrives
on weird. An odd story to serve children, the movie’s best features are the great
voicing, the good animation, and the happy ending. The worst features are
sloppy character development and reliance on a weird storyline for a child’s
watch. Dracula’s relentless intent to steal another man’s wife seems to deserve
a movie rating upgrade.

Maybe.
The movie generates a weird energy that fails to draw one into its story.
