Maddman: The Steve Madden Story—interesting success story—details the life and times of shoe designer Steve Madden. The film’s honesty puts it into a class of its own. This documentary spares no details of Madden’s life, the good, the bad, and the ugly and due to that open book portrayal becomes a real beam of light for all viewers. Director Ben Patterson tells this story well. Great cinematography marks every scene. It’s worth every viewing minute. This documentary serves the late teen and adult audience.
