Live and Let Die
features Roger Moore in his first attempt to define the James Bond character. Yaphet Kotto is the villain extraordinaire. Louisiana sheriff J.W. Pepper (Clifton James) adds unexpected spice to the story. Terrific funeral procession scenes, outstanding boat chase scenes, and some vivid voodoo religious re-enactments maximize special effects.
