Jerry Before Seinfeld—despite
trailers promising a good dive into Jerry’s early life—does not deliver a lot
about his childhood or the days before his standup comedy routines. The film
focuses more on his beginnings as a comedian and rehearses a trip down memory
lane via old comedy routines. He performs this memory trip in the same New York
club he started in years before. It’s a quality Seinfeld comedy hour, worth
watching.
