High School Musical 2 establishes three prolific performers’ careers. Zac Efron, by the age of 30, has forty theatrical films, television shows, and movie credits established. Lucas Grabeel has 51 film and television credits and Ashley Tisdale has 84 performance credits to her name. Overall, the acting and music in this film cannot be faulted. The quality and professionalism in presentation stand without fault. However, this film works at a lower level than its predecessor due to its predictability and slightly mundane arrangement. Watch for Miley Cyrus’ appearance.

Storyline

Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) and Gabriella Montez’s (Vanessa Hudgens) relationship becomes increasingly solid while Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale) continues to bully for status and position.

Yes. This is the next step in the series and allows movement to High School Musical III. It’s worth a viewing.
