Saw II—while not quite as good as the original Saw movie—maintains intensity and begs for a sequel. Donnie Wahlberg portrays policeman Eric Matthews to perfection. The film contains a higher level of graphic gore than its prequel with more realistic deaths. It’s a high-end thriller/horror film.

Storyline

Eric Matthews (Donnie Wahlberg) becomes deeply involved in a series of bizarre and convoluted torture murders.

Maybe. The film performs for an adult audience. This film has the chutzpah to make a strong shove to establish itself as one of the best in the horror/thriller genre.
