Joan Didion: The Center Will
Not Hold plays for an adult audience as it examines the life of Joan
Didion. The documentary introduces and establishes interviews with superb
technique. The camera work is some of the best in the business. The viewer can
walk away from the film with appreciation for Didion’s ability to make sense
from cultural diversity, see beyond the normal scope of viewing, and be true to
her life's purpose as she sees it.
