The Hunger Games: Mockingjay
Part 1—the newest, subpar
adventure in the Hunger Games series works
so tediously through its story that even the costuming cannot save it. The
highlights of the entire 123 minutes of story are: the opening scene and the
rendition of the song, “The Hanging Tree”. By the time the film finally ends,
all one is left with is the thought that this sequence needs a re-write and Jennifer
Lawrence needs to be replaced.
