Pioneer becomes a
hard-to-follow, thinly plotted story with some suspense. The Norwegian film is additionally hampered due to language in
Norwegian and subtitles in English. It is an interesting story that gets more
involved as it tells its story. It probably would do better on a remake with a
deeper, more sophisticated storyline. The acting, however, is exceptionally authentic and strong.

Buy a ticket? Yes? No? Maybe?
Yes. It's an interesting international story with a strong Norwegian flavor.
