The Karate
Kid Part II is an ‘afternoon on the beach while
eating lunch’ watch. This film takes its audience to Okinawa for an enjoyable
trip through modern Japanese culture, societal mores, and cultural views on duty,
forgiveness, and love. If you liked the first Karate Kid, you’ll like the sequel.
