Eragon, based on the first book of four
written by Christopher Paolini, seems to start like the Dragonheart movies and plays along fairly well until Eragon becomes
involved with Arya. Instant mediocrity sets in. From that point, it’s a
downhill slide to its concluding credits.

Storyline
Eragon
(Ed Speleers) sees a blue dragon egg and about ninety days later finds a real
dragon hatching from the egg. After his home is destroyed, he seeks revenge
with his dragon.
